However, in addition to managing these tasks we want to PROACTIVELY help you to get your tasks done. We do this by allowing you to mark selected tasks as 'public'. These public tasks are stored in our database and are sent to our vast network of registered suppliers who can choose to offer their services.
Think about this scenario...
- Let's say that you need to get a quote from a plumber to fix that leaky pipe (it's been on your list forever)- You add a task to Job Jobbed and hey presto you'll receive alerts on your mobile from plumbers who would like to help you. No need to go to a third party website to search for someone.- Decide if you'd like to speak with the supplier or not- If you do choose to accept their help, simply decide how you want them to contact you- The rest is up to you...and the plumber of course!

LIFESTYLE TASKS
On occasion Job Jobbed will push 'lifestyle tasks' to your to do list. These lifestyle tasks are carefully considered tasks that we think users may want to add to their list. An example of a lifestyle task might be: "check the oil level in your car"
You will be given the option to accept or reject any lifestyle tasks we send.

WHAT ELSE CAN I DO?
As a registered user you will need to supply us with the following information:
FIRST NAME
We display your first name to the supplier when displaying your public tasks. This is to give them a reference of who the message is from. We don't show your surname at this point.
SURNAME
We don't show your surname until you have agreed to share your details with the supplier.
EMAIL
If you choose to accept help from a supplier you are given the option to share your phone number, email address or both. If you choose email this is the address we'll send them. We also use this email address to send you your password.
PHONE
If you choose to accept help from a supplier you are given the option to share your phone number, email address or both. If you choose phone number this is the number we'll send them. We'll also use this number to contact you if there is a problem with your account.
LOCATION
We ask you to set your location so we can allow local suppliers to offer their help. Your location will be displayed to the supplier when your task is marked as public but we only show them an approximate location, not a specific address.
ALERTS
You can choose whether you want to receive audible alerts on your mobile when messages are received. If you turn them off then don't worry you can still access them via the app.
PUBLIC OR PRIVATE SETTING
All new tasks can be marked as public or private as the default option. You can change this in your settings.
COLOUR THEME
Select from 5 colour themes, choose the one that suits your personality most.
